7 Days in Zanzibar

Day 1 :

Arrive at Zanzibar International Airport, where you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel in Stone Town.
After settling in, enjoy a walking tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its narrow, winding streets, vibrant markets, and historical landmarks, such as the Old Slave Market, House of Wonders, and Forodhani Gardens.
In the evening, stroll through the Forodhani Night Market for a taste of local cuisine, including Zanzibar pizza and fresh seafood.

Day 2 :

After breakfast, embark on a spice tour just outside of Stone Town. Learn about Zanzibar’s rich history as the “Spice Island” and visit spice farms where you’ll see, smell, and taste exotic spices like cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla.
In the afternoon, take a boat trip to Prison Island (Changuu Island). Explore the island’s giant Aldabra tortoises and enjoy snorkeling in the clear waters surrounding the island.

Day 3 :

Head to Jozani Forest, the last remaining natural forest on Zanzibar, to see the rare red colobus monkeys and take a nature walk through its lush mangrove swamps.
Afterward, visit the Zanzibar Butterfly Centre, a community project supporting butterfly farming and conservation. You’ll get to learn about the lifecycle of butterflies and see them up close.

Day 4 :

Enjoy a relaxing day on the beaches of Nungwi or Kendwa, located on the northern coast of Zanzibar. This is the perfect time to unwind, swim in the turquoise waters, sunbathe on white-sand beaches, or explore the local village.
Optional activities include snorkeling, diving, or taking a sunset dhow cruise.

Day 5 :

Today, take a full-day snorkeling trip to Mnemba Atoll, one of Zanzibar’s premier snorkeling and diving spots. The coral reefs here are teeming with marine life, including colorful fish, turtles, and dolphins.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on a secluded beach and spend the afternoon exploring the underwater world before heading back to your resort.

Day 6 :

Spend another day enjoying the stunning beaches of Kendwa, known for its soft sand and calm waters. Participate in optional water sports like jet skiing, paddleboarding, or kayaking.

Day 7 :

After breakfast, enjoy your last few hours on the beach or pick up souvenirs at a local market.
